Drake Passage part two - The Return

Passing through the Drake Passage went pretty smoothly. It was mostly “Drake Lake”. There was a little of “Shake” this morning when we got up.

I tried the Chicken & Waffels for lunch . It did not agree with me . I got a light touch of food poisoning. It took me out for the rest of the day.

The weather was pretty calm, but the captain informed us that we would not be able to stop in the Falkland Islands. The port master had closed the port to any ships for the next 48 hours due to a lage storm coming.

Someone on our ship needed media care beyond what the ship could provide. So we were able to stop and let them off at Port Stanley (in the Falkland Islands)
