Homer AK

The Princess tour is now over. Transportation to the airport is provided by Princess for everyone. Sandy and I planned on extending our stay in Alaska so we rented a car at the airport and started our 4 hour drive to Homer Alaska.
Homer is located on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, famous as the"Halibut Fishing Capital of the World". The drive to Homer was beautiful.

I rented an Airbnb on the Homer Spit. It was a duplex located on the docks towards the end of the spit.

Salty Dawg Saloon
A local hot spot, we stopped in for a quick beer. This bar is known for all the dollar bills stapled to the wall. It was crowded, so we left after one beer.
