Utah - Goblin Valley State Park

After leaving Capitol Reef National Park, we headed up to check out Goblin Valley State Park. This park is about 15 minutes north of Hanksville. It h as a sprawling landscape filled with strange colorful sandstone formations called goblins. It is a bit surreal and almost alien landscape, so much so that the movie Galaxy Quest was filmed here.

There are trails that will take you right into the middle of the goblins! Very fun place to take photos.
