Jeni’s Ice cream

Jeni’s Ice cream is known for bold perfume-inspired flavors. We had heard many good things about it and decided to check it out. We went to the Jeni’s on 3404 N Southport Ave. Sandy got the Brown Butter Almond Brittle, I got the Mint Fudge.

The cones were tastey, but not exceptional.

Bartleby’s

Bartleby’s is a small neighborhood scoop shop at 1943 W Byron St. It is known for classic, handmade flavors served in a friendly low-key environment. The ice cream is made right there on the premises. There is a window where you can watch them make it.

Sandy got a double scoop with a scoop of Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan and a scoop of Coffee Pistachio Crunch. I got a double scoop of Irish Brown Bread & Whiskey Carmel and a scoop of Fudge Brownie.

We both loved our ice creams. I would come back here again!
