Denali ATV Adventures

Today we took an ATV tour of the backcountry surrounding Denali National Park with Denali ATV Adventures. We did the Denali Wilderness Adventure Tour. This is a two and half hour tour of the Alaska Range, Otto Lake and the Healy Valley.

I drove a two person side-by-side through rocky creeks and steep inclines. It was very fun!

After the ATV Tour, we returned to the Lodge to Pack up and go to Mt Mckinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. This Princess property is located approximately 40 miles north of Talkeetna and 100 miles south of the main Denali National Park. Too far to actually go back into the park. However, it did boast exceptional views of Denali and had some trails to hike. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and we could not see the mountain.

This is how Princess Cruise manages the tour. The people that took the train up stayed at the Mt Mckinley Wilderness Lodge last night and are heading to the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge that we stayed at. Not a fan! I hate having to pack up and leave after one night.
